I follow Real Ways To Earn and read up on posts regularly and I highly suggest that you do too also. She posts a lot of great information and has a TON of work from home jobs! Work from home jobs are hard to come by because a lot of scams, she takes a lot of work out of searching through them and finds the best!
  • 1-800-Flowers – Read Review – US only. Must be a resident and live in the following states: Delaware, Illinois, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Oregon. Temp part-time work at home position.
  • ABC Financial – Read Review – Inbound and outbound calling. Only hiring in specific states. Assists health club staff and members with issues/questions regarding club memberships billing, and contracts. Select “remote – national” in the search box to see the home-based jobs.
  • Acanac – Hires phone customer service agents to work from home (Canadian based company, no land line needed).
  • ACD Direct – Read Review – US only, not hiring people living in Delaware, Massachusetts, Wyoming, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Louisiana. Very flexible scheduling!
  • Afni@Home – Hires work at home agents in specific states to do customer support for their clients.
  • Alchemic Dream – Read Review – Open worldwide. Has occasional phone support and sales positions open. The company is in the computer gaming industry.
  • Alorica – Hires people to be customer support/retention agents from home. Some sales or upselling may be required. On the job search page, select one of the “work from home” locations to see if there are any home-based jobs available.
  • Amazon – Read Review – Regularly hires virtual customer service agents in various states nationwide. Do a search for “work at home” in the keyword field to find the home-based jobs.
  • American Airlines – Hires work at home reservation agents living within 75 miles of Fort Worth, Texas. Do a search in the keyword field for “work from home” to find the home-based job listings. They are not always hiring for the position.
  • American Express – Read Review – American Express occasionally has work from home customer service positions available. High pay.
  • Answer First – Read Review – Location-based phone work from home. Pay may vary, between $12 and $14 hourly based on your experience.
  • Arise – Read Review – Good pay, but you have to incorporate yourself to get started, which costs money. Still, many people enjoy the work for this company.
  • Ascend One – Hires customer care coaches to take inbound calls helping with questions/concerns about Ascend One’s debt repayment plan. Must attend 4-6 weeks of training at their Columbia, MD headquarters prior to working from home.
  • Asurion – Read Review – US only and limited to certain states. $10 to $12 per hour.
  • Blooms Today – Read Review – Work at home taking flower orders. Seasonal work. The job is usually advertised on Craigslist when they are hiring.
  • Capital One – Read Review – Hires customer service specialists to work at home. Location-based, usually needs workers in FL and VA.
  • Care.com – Hires customer service reps to work from their remote location. However, it is required that you come into their Waltham, MA office for training before working at home. To find home-based jobs at Care.com, visit their employment page and search for work from home in the keyword box.
  • Carlson Wagonlit Travel – Read Review – Work from home providing travel counseling for Carson Wagonlit’s clients. It’s helpful to have prior experience in the travel industry for this position.
  • Colony Brands – Swiss Colony hires home agents in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Missouri to answer phones from home. Must train onsite for two weeks before working from home. Hiring dates are July through November.
  • Concentrix – Read Review – This is a major staffing company that hires worldwide. However, it appears most of their home-based jobs are in the US.
  • Contract XChange – Read Review – Hires in several different countries, including the US, UK, Canada, France, and Dominica. Work taking calls for many major companies. Fees involved for training. Not hiring in many US states due to tax laws.
  • Convergys – Read Review – Pay is somewhere between $7 and $12 an hour. Hires from US, Canada, and UK.
  • Cruise.com – Read Review – Requires at least one year of recent cruise sales experience. Answer incoming calls & help customers w/questions, etc. Pays base plus there are incentives.
  • Deal Dash – Regularly has openings work from home customer support reps. However, you must be based in Minneapolis, MN so you can attend frequent in-person meetings.
  • Direct Interactions – Read Review – Get paid to handle calls from motorists with unpaid parking tickets.
  • Discover Financial Services – Hires work from home customer service agents with onsite training in Dover, DE. This company frequently recruits family of military personnel. You can usually find their work from home job listings posted at Indeed when they are hiring.
  • Doctors on Demand – Read Review – Hires work at home customer support agents. Must have some past healthcare experience to qualify. Pays $16 to $18 hourly.
  • EGS (formerly APAC) – Read Review – Frequently hiring work at home customer service reps. US only, location dependent. Paid training.
  • Enterprise Rent-a-Car – Read Review – Hires reservation and customer support reps to work from home in the US and Canada. Pay is $12 hourly or more.
  • Esurance – This company hires people to work from home as customer service reps. Must be within 100 miles of Sioux Falls. The job is not always posted.
  • Gemvara – Mass. only. Work from home doing customer service helping people navigate the Gemvara jewelry website. Does not appear that you need a land line. Type “work from home” in the keyword box on their careers page to find the home-based job.
  • Groupon – This popular deal-a-day company frequently has work from home customer service openings. However, it is usually a location-based position. It’s not always open, so you’ll have to check the careers page to see when it is.
  • Hayneedle – This company has occasional openings for work at home agents in the state of Nebraska. You will have to keep tabs on their job openings page to see when this position is listed.
  • Hilton Worldwide – Read Review – This well-known hotel chain uses work from home reservation specialists, customer care coordinators, and customer experience specialists. Customer service reps must live near Dallas, TX to train onsite, but reservation reps can be located almost anywhere in the US because training for that job is done virtually.
  • Home Shopping Network (HSN) – Read Review – Take orders for HSN, answer questions, etc.
  • Hotel Tonight – Hires people occasionally to work from home doing customer support. Sometimes they have positions for people in the US and sometimes they are hiring in other countries. Look for “customer support agents” on the Current Openings page to see what they have available currently.
  • JetBlue – Hires work from home airline reservationists. You must train onsite before being allowed to work from home. Must be based in Utah.
  • Kelly Services – Read Review – Must have dedicated phone land-line, high school diploma or GED, and be able to provide a quiet working background.
  • Land’s End – This well-known company hires work from home customer support agents. However, it is location-based and you must be able to train in East Madison, WI for the first two months prior to working from home.
  • Live Ops – Read Review – US only and paid per talk minute. You are hired as an independent contractor and paid twice a month.
  • Mark Travel Corp – Hires work from home customer care specialists for vacation planning. Location-based. Offers benefits.
  • Neiman-Marcus – Read Review – Dallas – Ft. Worth, TX residents only. Occasionally has openings for customer care reps to handle phone calls, emails, and chats from their home offices. Sometime this is a seasonal position.
  • NexRep – Read Review – Formerly known as Stewart Response Group. Calls routed through computer, no land line needed. Both sales and non-sales positions at times.
  • Nordstrom – Frequently hiring work at home customer service agents. This is usually a location-based job. To find the home-based position, do a search for “work at home agent” on the Nordstrom careers page.
  • Order Up – Often has openings for remote customer service agents. It’s required that you live Maryland because they want you to train on-site and then attend monthly meetings in Baltimore, MD.
  • Sitel – Read Review – Take inbound customer service calls for Sitel. Benefits provided.
  • Starwood Hotels – Hires work from home doing customer service, sales, and reservations. This is usually location-based work where you must train onsite before working from home.
  • Sutherland – Read Review – Hiring customer service, sales, and technical support representatives in 48 states. Paid training, employee benefits, and career growth opportunities exist.
  • Sykes – Read Review – Phone based customer service. Hires in both US & Canada.
  • Synergy Solutions – Inbound and outbound customer support calling, also some sales and political calling.
  • Teleflora – Read Review – Work from home taking flower orders and helping with customer concerns. Usually seasonal work.
  • TeleTech – Read Review – Customer support phone work available in select locations from home worldwide. You can use land line or Voip as long as Voip isn’t connected through the internet.
  • U-Haul – Read Review – US  and Canada. Benefits available for full time workers. Paid training with $50 bonus for completing training.
  • UCare – This company frequently hires work from home customer service reps. They may be location-based (Minnesota). It helps if you have an associates degree or some knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Upcaller – A new company currently hiring callers. Pays weekly.
  • Ver-A-Fast – Read Review – US only. Pay varies. You are contacting people who have subscribed to newspapers to find out how satisfied they are with services. Also some sales/upselling.
  • West at Home – Read Review – US only and pay rate varies. You must pay for your own background check to be done here.
  • Williams-Sonoma – Read Review – US only, specifically The Colony, TX. Work at home customer service, pays $11 an hour. Requires some on-site training.
  • Wizards of the Coast – This Hasbro company (they are behind Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons) sometimes needs work from home customer service reps. These positions are usually for people who are bilingual.
  • The Womb Sauna – A company that provides a mobile service offering ancient herbal steam medication to women who need it. Their careers page occasionally has work from home positions listed for customer retention and also virtual admin assistants.
  • Working Solutions – Read Review – Phone workers are normally in US, but occasionally hires outside of the country for other work. Also has some data entry available on occasion.
  • World Travel Holdings – Read Review – As a virtual agent at WTH you will primarily handle inbound calls from the customers of WTH’s company owned and partner labeled brands.
  • Wyndham Worldwide – Frequently hiring work at home customer service reps/travel counselors. Paid training. This is a location-based job so you will usually have to live near the area they are hiring in and may need to train onsite before working at home. On the Careers page, use “work from home” as your keywords to find the home jobs.
  • Xerox – Read Review – Almost always has a variety of work at home positions available for customer support. Search “work at home” in the search box to find the home-based jobs.
  • Ygomi – This company has the occasional need for remote customer service reps to process telephone payments. The job is usually location-based, but training is done from home and they provide all the equipment you need to do the job.
  • Zoc Doc – Regularly hiring for their “at home associate” position, basically doing customer support for them. Part-time, fifteen hours per week, and they prefer people who are local to NYC.

TELEMARKETING, SALES, LEAD GENERATION:

  • A Better Call – Requires 2 years experience in business to business appointment setting. Compensation is base plus bonus.
  • AccuConference – AccuConference is looking for an experienced business-to-business sales representative to expand our current customer base through cold calling and direct marketing campaigns. Candidates will work from home on their own schedule and will receive 100% commission on all new monthly sales and a 10% recurring commission for each account.
  • Advise Tech – Only work 2 to 6 hours per week.
  • Bird Dog Media/Windy City Call Center – Read Review – Work from home lead generation for education. Hires in IL, or IN. Pay is $9 hourly.
  • Blue Zebra Appointment Setting – Read Review – Pays $15 an hour and up. Need two years previous experience.
  • Brighten Communications – Read Review – Business to business telemarketing. Earn up to $16 per hour while working from home.
  • City Twist – Hires home-based workers for business to business cold calls. You need to have at least two years prior cold calling experience to be considered.
  • ClearStone Windows – This is a window washing company that pays you to call attempting to get appointments set up for window washing. You get to keep a 30 percent commission from every appointment made.
  • Cruise.com – Hires home-based cruise sales agents on occasion. Pays base plus commission.
  • DVM Elite – This veterinary marketing company has regular openings for home-based sales agents. They pay a base plus commission.
  • eDegree Advisor – Read Review – Formerly known as Helios Media. Work from home telemarketing/cold calling. I’ve read that not everyone enjoys this job, but you’ll do best if you’ve had experience with sales.
  • EduTrek – Hires work from home agents to gather information on people looking to apply to colleges. Performance-based pay, $12 – 22 per hour. You need to have had at least a year of prior call center experience to be considered.
  • eTutor World – Hires remote sales associates to work from home anywhere in the US.
  • Generation Sales Group – Cold calling. You earn $12 hourly. No land line is needed.
  • Grindstone – $12 an hour, no weekend work. Not taking applications as of 9/25/14.
  • Happy Conversations – Occasionally hiring outbound sales reps to work at home in different states. Outbound calling, but not focused on cold calling or sales.
  • Humana – Occasionally has work from home sales positions available. Select “Virtual/Work from Home” at the bottom of the page to find the sales jobs.
  • I Dial U – Read Review – Regularly hiring work at home customer service agents. They are open worldwide, although most of their projects must be handled by US-based workers. Pays by direct deposit twice monthly. Income will vary depending on the project you are assigned to.
  • Institute of Reading Development – Read Review – Sign up to work at home, selling reading programs to parents. Between $500 to $1,000 per week may be possible.
  • Intelliverse – Hires outbound phone sales associates. Pays $10 to $14 hourly plus commission. Requires two years past sales experience.
  • Intrep – Pays $12 an hour plus bonuses for sales. You do need to have some sales experience to be considered.

  • Oasis Marketing Solutions – Read Review – Work at home doing political and other calls as an IC. No app form on website, you’ll just have to contact them and inquire about work at home positions. They sometimes have other types of calls/programs you can do apart from just political ones.
  • OPK – OPK is seeking callers who already have several years of sales and/or telemarketing experience.
  • Paragon Planners – Read Review – They hire home-based appointment setters/schedulers. All positions are on a full- or part-time contract basis.
  • Patch – Hires work from home sales and marketing associates. Select “Sales” on the jobs page and then find your area to see jobs close to where you live.
  • Pathable – Hires work from home lead qualifying telesales reps. You need a four year degree to qualify as well as previous sales experience. No land line needed.
  • Phone Force – Invites you to join their team of outbound calling specialists providing premium business to business lead generation and telemarketing services. Submit resume via email.
  • Sage – An international company hiring home-based sales reps. Requires sales experience.
  • Sales Fish – Requires 5 years inside sales experience calling on B2B customers. Must agree to work 25 hours per week.
  • Saleschasers – US only and fluent in English. Independent contractor position. Works with clients to identify the sales skills needed for success and then matches SalesChasers’ most qualified sales agents to generate leads, set appointments or acquire customers
  • Sales Roads – The appointment setter & lead generation positions are work from home independent contractor opportunities where you can schedule flexible hours and work out of your home office.

  • Apptical – Read Review – You get paid per minute and also a flat rate per call. Job involves conducting surveys over the phone for people who have applied for health insurance.
  • BSG/Voicelog – Read Review – Get paid to work at home doing third party verification. Pay starts at $8.50 an hour. Independent contractor position.
  • Call Center QA – Hires remote call center evaluators. This is actually telephone mystery shopping. They hire in the US only and it’s very flexible work. Pays weekly.
  • Carnival – Read Review – Hires work from home personal vacation planners. This is an employee position with benefits.
  • Causeworx – Read Review – Hires work from home telefundraisers. Hires worldwide. You can earn between $11 and $14 hourly.
  • Connect and Sell – Read Review – You connect the contact to the person who needs to talk. It’s all business to business calls, but you do no selling.
  • Customer Service Review – Seeking individuals who can evaluate customer service representatives’ performance. Prior customer service, call monitoring, or mystery shopping experience preferred. They prefer applicants that live within 15 miles of Berwyn, PA.
  • DoorDash – Read Review – Take and place restaurant orders, no land line required. Probably supplemental income. I had one reader claim she earns between $600 and $800 monthly.
  • OnPoint – Read Review – OnPoint is a no sales job and they offer weekly pay. You are paid per hour and you can set your own schedule.
  • ORC – Hires home-based telephone research interviews to interview Fortune 500 companies. Pays $8.75 to $9 an hour.
  • Overland Solutions – Hires work at home phone insurance auditors. Must have some experience and a related degree.
  • Westat – Read Review – Weekly pay with benefits. Must work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Advanis – They hire people to be telephone interviewers. Canada only.
  • GoodStart U – Read Review – Make outbound calls. Medication reminders for people who have signed up for the service.
  • Ipsos Home Interviewer – Conduct market research surveys over the phone for Ipsos.
  • Maritz Research – Read Review – US only. Work from home as an interviewer for Maritz Research. Land line preferred, but may use other kinds of phones too.
  • Next Wave Advocacy – Read Review – Conducting interviews over the phone. Outbound calling.
  • ParaMeds – Read Review – Work at home doing data retrieval among other things for Parameds. Outbound calling.
  • People Calling People – Read Review – Political poll calling, all outbound. Seasonal work. They are usually just hiring around election time.
  • Prince Market Research – Work at home conducting telephone interviews. Outbound calling.
  • Quest Diagnostics – Occasionally hiring part-time work from home teleinterviewers to gather information from patients. Must be located in the Kansas City Metropolitan area within commuting distance of our Lees Summit location so you can train onsite for 6-8 weeks before starting work at home.   • RiseSmart – This company hires virtual transition specialists to work at home. This job involves customer service and also job placement coaching.
  • Sedgwick CMS  – Read Review – US only. Your job is to help file insurance claims. Sedgwick pays you back for the use of your phone and internet connection as well as supplying equipment. Must have quiet working environment.
  • Survey Technology & Research Center – They have occasional openings for Telephone Interviewers who will administer computer based questionnaires over the telephone to selected households or businesses.
  • TelCare Retention Services – Work at home conducting customer satisfaction surveys. Must train in Florida.
  • Vocalabs – Read Review – This company hires work from home survey administrators. I believe this is primarily conducing customer satisfactions surveys from home.
  • VRI Medical Alarm Monitoring – Often looking for candidates to join their telehealth clinical service team, particularly bilingual Spanish/English people.
  • Wheelhouse – This company is often looking for work at home quality assurance reps. In addition to this position, they also hire home-based development reps for their virtual call center.

There are so many different ways to get started on the Internet in order to start making some Work from home opportunities but no way is going to be better than getting involved with one of the legitimate work from home opportunities available online. Since you are starting out for the first time it's going to be important to get on the right path that is going to reward you for your hard work and effort that you will be investing.
